I forgot a can of beer in the freezer...

... now it's frozen!
What's the freezing temperature of 4.9% alcohol? I was just going to cool it down a bit about 4 hours ago and put it in the freezer for a while... however, I somehow managed to forget it, and I only remembered it about 15 minutes ago. Now it's completely frozen! Does it still taste like beer when it has melted? It will probably take hours... Well, this should be interesting, I think I'm going to wait!

Today I learned that beer-flavoured ice cream would be bloody disgusting! Surprised

I once put a bottle of champagne in the freezer and forgot it - and hey presto, it exploded, leaving the freezer full of shards of glass and frozen champagne. Fool that I am, i got a sieve out and strained all the glass out, which left me with...flat champagne! Confused

i tried to drink a beer that had been frozen once and i agree tommy that it was absolutely disgusting. The only booze that i find is ok in the freezer is vodka.

i left a 40 ounce glass bottle of beer one time in freezer, only i did'nt keep it in 4 long. when i took it out, it was at a sort of slushy stage, well the top half was slushy and the half bottom was just (normally cold) beer. i gotta be honest, it was pretty darn good! Wink

I find it rather worrying that Tommy is willing to wade back through pages and pages (and pages) of messages to find something he posted 5 months ago and then to add a new message to the thread....I seem to remember he once resurrected a year-old thread...

I think we need to have a whip round to buy him an air ticket to anywhere a long long way from his pc!!
