just thought of how it might be to record songs in a recording studio. Since I've never recorded songs in a recording studio before, I was wondering if Bravecaptain could tell me or give me some pointers on what it's like to record songs in a recording studio, that's if you got time to answer the questions, Bravecaptain. Well, here goes question #1: When recording in the studio, does the producer let you record the songs the way you would like them to be recorded or does he say, "No that's wrong! You need to change the lyrics &/or notes &/or you need to sing it &/or play it like this!" 2nd question: Have you ever felt that the producer made the song, instead of you makin' the song the way you wrote it to be? last question: If you are'nt already a producer & you had the time, would you try to become a producer & why?

as y'all probably don't know, i won't be able to come to this (messageboard) till this coming up Monday & I'm leaving in about 1 hrs. time today, so that would probably be 6:00 p.m (uk) gmt's time. Yes that's correct, for those of you that live in England, y'all are 6 hrs. ahead of my time. So, I hope y'all have a good weekend! Cheers everybody! Wink

i find studios incredibly sterile places to be. just like a big room, some guy sitting behind a window looking lost playing w/ his knobs.

go in,
make noise,
feel big,
listen to it,
feel small.
