I reckon whoever in [a certain tabloid] said y-k-w was bananas for showing up in court in his pj bottoms would show up

it's pretty obvious
if the deal is: show up in court in pyjamas for $3m and to avoid jail, and you then go to jail, you've obviously not showed up in court in pyjamas, and therefore you've missed out on the $3m as well |
