Ah well, any example you like. I could say I'm a conservative yet be very open to liberal ideas, then I wouldn't really be a conservative, I'd just call myself that, etc etc.

Love & Peace

speaking of Manicsfans, I have, ahem, fond memories of an Israeli one who swore he was a "right-wing socialist"

does that make sense? hmm

Marxism is political theory based on the books etc. of Marx/Engels - that human actions are at root economically determined, the class struggle is the basic agent in historical change, and that communism will ultimately take the place of capitalism due to the flaws in capitalism...

communism is a classless society where national assets are owned by all

isms in general become bad when they are viewed as more important than PEOPLE

If you look through a prism then you can view more people.

Yeha its true seeing through a prism gives you a wider scope but you lose the details, humanity lies in the details all the rest is economics.

Marxism is the political theory, but Im still struggling with what the tenets of socialism are.

People didtn change the Iraq war or top up fees? because under our current sytem of government power is basically centralised and every four years we can express an opinion the governement'll take notice of, and still people dont bother with this, and without proportional representation its hard not to see why.
There are other ways to be heard, but the government doesnt have to listen.
