Does anyone have this yet? Any good? It's available precisely nowhere in Sheffield.
If I'm to download it, does anyone know of a site where I can download un-protected versions? i don't have a damn iPod y'see?

i just got it the other day and there are some really good songs on there. Worth buying i'd say. Maybe one song (London) i'm not too keen on but other than that not too many negatives i can come up with. Liverpool, Bankers and thanks for all the aids are my favourite songs right now. _________________ Martin O'Neill's Claret And Blue Army |

And so it was that I made my first online album purchase last night.
And so it was that it couldn't have been for a finer album. This year has been ace hasn't it?

It's been a long old year, the Arctic Monkeys album and Distractions came out this year and that seems like decades ago. I presume Razorlight or Muse are gonna win all the album of the year polls. I'm struggling to remember which albums I've bought this year but I'm also struggling to remember what I did this morning. |

I was going to look for ATD's album in Leeds today but as soon as I went into HMV I forgot what I went in for and went to the pictures to see Borat instead.
My 2nd-place album of the year landed on my doorstep this morning. _________________ "It's too beautiful to stay inside..." |

well if John Mc had started a worse sleeve of the year thread then i'd be nominating akira the dons. Thankfully the album is v v v ace, would love to know if he did try and get the melody sample cleared for the Kinks Thank You For The Days as the intro to Thanks For All The AIDS - if he did then he didn't get it which means the kinks get a boo from me.
The Long Blondes don't though, got their album that same day as Akira's and its poptastically ace. In years to come i'll bore people about the fact i saw them gig on a boat but i'll do so knowing that mixed... can brag more about the fact he's been in one of their videos. They are a rare thing of being both glamourous and ace. Hooray! _________________ Britain... It's not that Great! |

Here's a [long] interview I conducted with Akira and the Women @ Central Station in Wrexham last Wednesday night.
47 minutes worth of tangents, rants, passion and slightly slurred words.
You'll have to log-in [for nowt] to access the Download Archive.
That's simply so I can monitor my dwindling bandwidth.
Please leave any feedback you have in the thread.
Many thanks, and I hope that it [the interview] helps to peersuade some more people to invest in Akira's ace album.
