I have mixed feelings about this. I can understand why people are tempted to pick it up, and I don't see any other efforts to clean/remove rubbish from the area. The majority of the companies/people that own the gear will claim its cost back on insurance at any rate..so actually no mixed feelings, everyone is right to get down there and see what they can find. They should do there bit cleaning up the packaging too though. _________________ www.myspace.com/storkboychoons

Devon and Cornwall was built out of wrecked ships (deliberate or otherwise)
About 3-4 years ago a Canadian timber vessel lost her cargo off the Cornish coast and large quantities washed up where I work and on the beach where my parents live. You've never seen so many builders vans, timber merchants scrambling to get the stuff. Numerous fences, garden decks and roofs were made with the salvage.
And tis always been the case... though what the fuck they'll do with BMW motorbike parts i've no idea _________________ Be sad, be happy and be wise |

i guess u gotta kinda look at the bright side of it. besides what if u found some boo radley cassette tapes along with some bravecaptain vinyls and a lost performance of the beatles on video cassette, not that there would be such things on a cargo-boat though, but then again who knows? you might just get lucky!! _________________

I'd wander about the poor soul that just lost their collection of rare albums, that's what. _________________ "fashioned by the blade of a world that doesn't care,

i would too, but i'd also try and put them to good use.
besides, there's no sense in leaving something that's likely to be thrown in the trash. _________________
