A poll is only representative of the population questioned, therefore a poll can never actually reflect the attitudes, behaviours or opinions of the general public as a whole.

As an example if Richard & Judy do a phone in poll tonight about lets say 'family loyalties', this poll actually only reflects the type Richard & Judy viewer who watches on a tuesday evening and who has the personality type to be bothered to pick up the phone to vote and believe their opinion counts, in short a deluded person. Ergo, Richard and Judy do crap polls that mean nothing.

Thank you for your time

No, as I'm guessing that I'm not alone in fabricating answers to make sure I get ipoints and fit the required criteria.

And does't it depend on the environment?? If its clinical, isn't that likely to produce duff answers as the surroundings aren't natural or comfortable??

Mind you if you read any polls that state Phil Collins is shit/a wanker/evil etc, they are most definitely correct and are a true state of public opinion. People can't lie about that one.
