What album? I might want to check it out as well.

Six years later...

Hahaha Laughing

After all these years I still haven't bought YHF, I've only heard it a couple of times on Spotify... It's probably one of those albums that need more time, but I think "A Ghost Is Born" is still my favourite.

Anyone heard the new (self-titled) album yet? I've listened to it once now and I'm not sure what to think of it... it doesn't sound very exciting.

Not heard the new one, but bizarely Q in their 'Like This? Try This' box to the side of their review compared it to Kingsize....

I've been listening to Wilco (The Album) on Spotify for the last week and I really like it. So much better than Sky Blue Sky. Black Bull Nova is utterly brilliant. The only reason I've not bought it is because its on my birthday list for next month, along with dinosaur jr, patrick wolf and bombay bicycle club.

I've learned to love "Sky Blue Sky", but it certainly took some time. The album starts to get a bit boring towards the end, that's right, but the first half of it is gold.

The new album may be more coherent, but so far I haven't found any songs on it that I really really like, whereas on "Sky Blue Sky" there are tracks such as 'Either Way' and 'Hate It Here' and 'You Are My Face' that are up there with the best songs that Wilco have ever recorded.

The good thing about the new album is that I don't feel like skipping any of the tracks on it, so I will most likely learn to love it as well. Very Happy
