Intelligent Dance Music: term is shit on several fronts. 1) you can't dance to it. 2) implies that other dance musics are somehow not intelligent.
100% pure pretentious bullshit.

Me and D were lying on the floor listening to Autechre 5am Sunday. The ceiling was full of bubbles and we weren't dancing or being very intelligent. maybe they should call it jellied off your spassy tits and crossing over to the next realm music.

You should be a music journalist. The new wave of "JOYSTACOTHNR" music starts here.

Surely "Dance music you can't dance to" should just be called, "Shit dance music?

nah, that could be taken as "dance music, done shittily," rather than "possibly good music, to be judged on its own merits, masquerading as elitist dance tripe"
