Just a tip for you if you want to listen to a new band that sound like a tribute to very early Boo Radleys, try Amusement Parks on Fire. There are two ways of listening to their new single :-
1. Buy it from Piccadilly Records in Manchester for the best part of 4 quid like I've just done.
2. Register at www.nme.com and then download it for free.

Great little tune, sounds like boo's, swervedriver, ride etc. I do believe they are going to quite popular. If you like what you hear, they have a new CD out, mid-july.
Enjoy. |

This sounds like something that could be on Ichabod & I.
In other words - it's fairly good, but not spectacular.
There's still something missing, something that makes a song a good one.
Hmmm.
Maybe they have to get a new drummer, the bassist needs to get his hair cut, their singer has to shave his head, songwriter has to ...
... WELL, IT'S ALL IN THE HAIR!! REMEMBER YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST!!

The last minute of that is brilliant.
i.e. the bit after he stops singing and the guitars just. get.
