i voted.

i also listened to the xfm session. can't say i was blown away by any of the songs on a first listen, but it usually takes me a few listens to get into anything...
....i remember when i bought the album "Her Highness" by "Medicine" back in winter of 95' & when i played it on my first listen, my mouth dropped, i could'nt believe it, i actually liked every song on the first listen! Mr. Green so i kept playin' it over & over & over & over till i literally got hungry from not eating. Rolling Eyes i guess loved it so much that i actually starved myself, even so i still did'nt want to leave the stereo. i think it was actually me mum that got me to leave the stereo by yelling "Joe there's food on the table!!!".....amazing, but true. I didn't love the middle song of the three for a few listens either

still prefer Black Honey and (especially) Healing Song, to be honest

k, only listened to the first track, and it was very good! Cool
but - i don't know if this was cos of my poor battered old pc or what, but i only got to hear a couple of seconds of the track, then it went silent for a second, then a couple more seconds of music and so on... most annoying.
can they be downloaded in an mp3 format anywhere?

hmmm... playing it now, without any problems. perhaps it's like that if you don't have broadband? hope not. dunno if you have it or not anyway, so, I dunno!

think there are only the streams available too... unless someone has made them into an mp3 Wink

hmm...

thanks for voting anyway. not that I'm in the band or anything Razz

(you'd be forgiven for thinking I was, but I just want them to win. not that it'll be the end of the world if they don't, but any publicity when a band is starting out is good, eh)

POLL

Which gig would people rather hear?

Black Sessions, French radio 1993
Lyon 1996
Lille 1993
Astoria, London 1996(?)
Los Angeles 1993

I only actually have one of them, but if the most popular choice coincides with the one I do have, you all get it a day earlier Wink
