See, I told you somthing must have...

Can't say it would have been much different if I'd been around; although I'm sure I'd have found spurious reasons to mention Bob Dylan in some of the threads...

Oh, and: The Secret Machines album.

Reading through Tommy's list I got nostalgic for some of the stuff that was written on the board in the past. So many memories.

Although I'm out of the country for a year I've got a subscription to keep doing the Lottery back home. That will keep going for 52 weeks and by my calculations during that time I'm bound to win a million pounds at least once. When I do I'd like to pay to have the regular BC board posters to fly in from around the world for a night out together in Rhyl. It would be interesting to see if we'd all get on in real life or whether we'd degenerate into Lord of the Flies style anarchy within seconds.

I'll let you know when my numbers come up and we can make more detailed plans but for now just keep the last few months of next year free.

Take care, read some good books, and don't let the corporation man grind you down...

Well, I've lived in a succession of internetless houses, but as I now apparently own my own house * and am a responsible morgage holder, I can get broadband again. Yay. (Naturally I'd already got a mate to download me Distractions when it came out. And it is awesome and hard to believe it is the last bravecaptain songs we'll hear... ). Oh and I FINALLY got to see Dylan live before he died.

In other Bev news: Luke Haines is awesome and brilliant live; the book 'Go Tell It On The Mountain' beautiful; and like the late bandwagon jumper I am, Curb Your Enthusiasm is ace.

* I am as surprised about this fact as you are (although in fact, I really own about two bricks & an inch of cornice at the moment).

I'm sure there is a thread on here that explains all; but to save me looking through the last 24months history would you care to elaborate old bean?

He was in a team that made the game so unfortunately he's not a billionaire.

Nice one. I would have bought that, but I'm afraid I've come over all XBOX360 since last we meet.
