Oliver is as bad as Bono mate, he just hasn't had as much of a head start as yet... He started shouting but in 2 years time he'll be back to releasing £25 books. To be fair to Bono, he's a wanker who does seem to have stuck to his guns so far... |
I believe I was the person trying to stick up for Bonio at the time, so I'll do the same for Jamie O this time around.
The fact is Jamie owns a swanky restaurant, is already a millionaire, and could do TV programs and write cook books for the rest of his days is peace and luxury. You seem to think that making money is some kind of criminal activity.
Yes I found all the "at home with the Olivers" stuff irritating and self-serving, but at the end of the day, the program has (hopefully) kickstarted a move in a good direction for our kids. Jamie Oliver didn't have to spend a year of his life on this project, and I think his passion throughout the series was indisputable.
It's wierd on here. It seems that any famous person that does charity work or anything for a good cause, seems ripe for a kicking. If anyone wishes to call me naive, well good, cos at least that means I'm not cynical.

Hey kinks I don't think Bev thinks making money is a crime.
But I do. Well not making it but hording it in in large amounts and then touring the globe expecting other people to share out theirs. |

The paramedic that glued me up on Monday after my friendly football game went a bit, er, "wrong".
Love to the emergency services
