I've only heard that track on the Lost In Translation soundtrack (I think Paul mentioned it in another thread) and really liked it. So its worth getting is it? The reviews I read of the first album described them as having an 80's rock type sound which put me off a bit.

"Too Young" isn't on the album, I can't speak for reviews but it's lively pop with heaps of sounds...haha. L&P

i bought it setareh,

but found it to be a bit m.o.r,

'everything is everything' is probably the best track on it, but after about 3 songs i stopped dancing and read my guardian, and by the time it was finished i didn't remember anything distinctly interesting about it. once you've got over the unique voice, there didn't seem to be much else there.

sorry......

lost in translation soundtrack is d.e.f.i.n.a.t.e.l.y. worth getting though, to be honest pheonix sound out of place on it but 'too young' is a good enough song not to spoil it.

I disagree, but I didn't go into it wishing to dance. So far tracks 1,2,5,6,7,9 I really like...so it's good. L&P

Hey, Pheonix has been the best kept secret here in wi. I Love "Honeymoon" "Too Young, "If I ever Feel Better" and "Summertime" (think those are the songs titles). Some songs don't stand out as brilliant, and that's ok, its just good music.

BTW, if you like them, check out the song, "Double Dutch" by Iffy.

We just have to disagree, I loooove that song.

All you Boo fans, you should listen to Phoenix tracks "Honeymoon" and "Summer Time", especially the latter has a very Boo feel to them (from their first album "United"). L&P

I tried to buy it last weekend but none of the shops around here had either of the Phoenix albums in stock - I'm assuming its a sanction imposed by record shops due to Frances refusal to send troops to Iraq. So I ordered it over the internet and am still waiting for it to arrive.

Is the new Beta Band stuff good? The front cover of the album of their last album was so crap that they put me off them. I really am that shallow.
