I prefer Advertisements For Myself to Giant Steps
am I the only one?
*getting one last pro-AFM post in before it sounds ever so slightly dated upon hearing AWOBMOLG* |

i haven't listened to afm in a while. maybe i should...
awobmolg is my favourite at the moment, as it's new and fresh and exciting. hard to make a real comparison with the others yet.
where's everyone gone? when i logged on there were 10 people here, and now i'm all by myself, as i've been here most of the day. |

Oh come on, they are both very different albums at very different times in a very different world. Giant Steps is great, particularly as my late best mate used to sing 'I hang suspended on your pubes'. Those were the days. It's all soundtrack for our lives. |

yes, I realise that they're two different albums at two different times, thanks
but as one got NME's album of the year, or somethin, and the other got mostly ignored, I just thought I'd say
it's not like I said Giant Steps was crap |

i listened to
giant steps
last nite, for the first time in a while, and i listened to it very loud too...
it was a beautiful moment!
advertisments
and the new album too are both great tho, depends on what mood i'm in at the time, whether i prefer bravecaptain or boo radleys stuff.
oh, and "i hang suspended on your pubes" - i will never listen to that song in the same way again! |
