Ha ha, brave man, mr firesky. Admitting you like the *unt one these days is akin to being caught maturbating by your parents.

His voice irritates me but everything irritates me at the moment. Todays poll question: would you rather be James Blunt or a member of the Arctic Monkeys? I'd opt for Blunt. His tour bus is bound to be nicer and for a man of my advancing years that's more important than Zane Lowe liking me. Zane Lowe apparently has a band and they've got an album out this week, I've not heard any of it but I bet it sounds like UNKLE.

I'd prefer be blunt too, because he's making more money and the arctic monkeys aint the poets that popular opinion makes out. Zane Lowe's band, I bet they are so painfully contrived and zeitgeist and knowing that the resulting product will make me throw a brick at teh first emo fucker I see with a goatee, wooly jumper, thick glasses and ipod hanging out of his arse. Normally a few on the train.

Thats me! Although its not a goatee its just stubble due to being too lazy to shave for the past week. And hopefully an operation will dislodge the Ipod, that's the last time I go for a night out with a bunch of Premiership footballers.

Ha ha ha, see where stereotyping gets you?

I just use the one finger.

Laughing

Does anyone actually watch The Zane Lowe Channel (aka 'MTV2') anymore? More to the point, is The Zane Lowe Show (aka 'Gonzo') still going? I've said it before and I'll say it again, he got the title right - watch 'Gonzo' and you expect to see a muppet.

As to whether I'd be Arctic Monkeys or James Blunt, I'd be James Blunt no doubt about it. I'd rather be associated with an eloquent lyric like "Goodbye, My Lover" than "Eee by gum ecky thump worra scummy man on't dancefloo-er sithi". (Sorry, but if I want to hear someone talking in a Yorkshire accent, I take my headphones off.)

I think I'm done ranting now. Sorry about that.
