the name is dreadful alright.
but the band is fucking class. the new album is called chutes too narrow and I don't think its on release in the UK yet. If you're looking for songs to download try,
so says I
new slang
know yer onion
kissing the lipless
mine's not a high horse
these songs are nothing less than perfection, I cannot overestimate how good this band is. |

Have you heard Dashboard Confessional? I think there are similarites.

I bought the last Dashboard Confessional album and thought it was truly awful. I'm all for sensitive front men pouring their hearts out but the lyrics sounded like they were written by a lovesick 13 year old. After the first 3 songs you feel like slapping him and telling him to pull himself together. |

| I saw the Shins at Oxegen (hey, it was them, Ocean Colour Scene, Basement Jaxx or The Darkness!)... and they were pretty decent (considering it was the last gig of the weekend and I was stone cold sober). I'd only heard one song upto that, which I did like, but forget the name of now. damn. |

| Basement Jaxx, that's where it was at!!!!!! Even D who started this post knew there was no competition between the stagnant swaying at The Shins and the hands in the air euphoria of the Jaxx. One of the best live acts going! |

I almost did watch BJ... but I doubt I'd have enjoyed it without the aid of some substances
booze. |
