8.
waking up thinking that you have to go to work, but then you realise that it's sunday morning. or waking up early and realising that you still have a couple of hours left to sleep.
9.
getting back home on friday afternoon.
10.
being able to help someone.

They are in no particular order really... they're just things that came to my mind when I started thinking about things that would make me happy (and have done so in the past).
We still need 84 more happy things to reach 100, so someone has to help me with this! My life is so miserable that I can't think of any others. Ha ha.
Setareh, you've posted a lot of happiness threads before, you must be some kind of an expert. Help. _________________

Oooo...flattered...let me see...you've taken a few of them...
- Finding something you've lost, amazing how happy that makes you
- Watching an old movie on an afternoon when it's raining outside
- Watching films generally
- His smile
- Italians speaking
- Coming to work in the mornings when the candles are lit by my colleague, they make me so incredibly happy
- Chocolate, dark, chocolate ice-cream, chocolate pastries
- Joyous songs
- Frasier and Simpsons, sooooo funny
Oh I'll get back to you later.

what was the name of the Everton fanzine that did this at the front of each issue? Things that had made the writers smile over the weeks? It was bloody brilliant. I used to buy it for that alone....stuff like "that old couple down the road that always smiles and say hello..." Great.
what makes me happy is receiving two bc packages with the same stuff in, sending one back and then getting some cds in return for being cool! No, I say, you're the cool ones. |

after a bit google search....it might be "what's the score" - although that is described as a 'merseyside' fanzine and in my memory it was definitely an everton/celtic bias. but my memory is rubbish, so it may well have been that....
i just don't know.
anyway:
combination of 34 & 35: unexpected text messages from ex's (i thought she got married??)
a nice chocolate croissant and cuppa in the morning after not being found out for being an hour late at work. makes me happy today.
oh. and being blatant about chatting up the wife of a daily telegraph journalist (my own little payback for them stitching up geirge galloway...) |
