how come he's not had bravecaptain on there?
Were the Boo Radleys ever on it, even? I got that 'Later' compilation CD years ago with loads of UK bands who were popular in the 90s on it... Oasis, Blur, Pulp, Supergrass, Elastica, Manics, Suede, Charlatans, SFA, Bluetones, OCS, Radiohead, Cast, etc.. but no Boos on there

He's a bit particualr about who he has on. I also despise him for messing up the catering plans for my Wedding!
Jools Holland is really a purveyor of sensible coffee table rock. I think Paul Weller is regarded as a god in those circles so you see the sort of thing I mean. There will be the odd "cutting edge" artist on there, but that's probably more to do with the big record company promotion machine than anything else, which thankfully isn't a feature of Martin' s music!
I don't think the Boos were ever on later, although I remember seeing them on The White Room with Mark Radcliffe but can't remeber if it was Wake Up or C'mon Kids they were promoting.
Radcliffe championed them a bit back then. I remember them being on his "graveyard shift" Radio show back in the good old days!
Is there's much chance of BC appearing on Radio 2 now Mark Radcliffe has his show on there? _________________ We would like to announce that due to cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off..... |

i think we were on twice. definately once, we did it and then they showed it as a 'britpop special' which made me really angry because we have never done anything (knowingly) that was/is associated with that term. it was 'wake up' era.
