I had a Boo Radleys related injury some time ago as well!
I keep my Boo Radleys records piled on the top of a big shelf, and there's a nice cosy armchair right next to it, where I often sit when I'm listening to music.
Anyway, some weeks ago I was listening to something again (can't remember what it was) and I sat down in the armchair... I leaned back, and BUMP - the armchair hit the record shelf. I heard another noise too and looked up quickly - my (big black) Boo Radleys pile had fallen and now they were losing altitude fast and approaching my head at alarming speed.
I didn't have much time to react so I followed my instincts and tried to catch the falling Boo CDs of course! I only managed to catch 'I Hang Suspended' but I probably saved some others too by slowing them down so that they didn't get hurt. My hand did though! Part 2 of 'It's Lulu' got completely smashed up but the CD itself was miraculously saved, there were some other CD case casualties too but nothing too serious, just bruises and scratches.

This is a true story and I haven't had any tea yet this morning. Rolling Eyes
