BC,
The truth is: Couches are SIMPLY DELICIOUS!!!
I bought that recently released "SMILE" album and me likely. Every review I read wrung the album out for the most part, but then at the end was like, "THAT being said...it was good and worth buying, blazay, blazay, blazay." Someone even said that Brian sounds like the Bill Murray character from CaddyShack nowadays. HA. |

I met Brian Wilson yesterday, he was signing copies of Smile at the HMV here. Here's a full transcript of the conversation:
JM: Hi, can you sign this please?
BW: ... (silence while he signs my CD)
JM: Thank you
- BW continues to look down at the table and fails to acknowledge the presence of JM. JM walks away.
I think I really connected with him and fully expect a song about me to appear on his next album. |

Where was that, John?
Oooh... bastard! [not you] I wouldn't have minded getting him to sign something of mine too.
Incidentally, the best way to get Brian's attention is to pretend that you're Dr. Eugene Landy by shouting something like, "Hey, Brian! Get out of bed, you fat bastard!"
Works like a treat, apparently. _________________ The Musical Mystery Tour,

I'm in Sydney now, he played at the Sydney Opera House a couple of nights ago, the tickets were stupidly expensive. And he was only signing copies of 'Smile' as the millions of signs in HMV explained. They specifically stated that he wouldn't be signing "Surfboards or any Beach Boys memorabilia". |

That was me and I forgot to log in. My encounter with pop royalty has given me an idea for a new thread.... |
