Apologies if I've mentioned/asked about this before (especially if I asked Martin in person whilst drunk), but anyone else love the band Sugar (or any of Bob Mould's musical projects)?

Sugar and The Boo Radleys were always my fave bands back in the day, and I've recently been trying to get hold of all the Bob Mould solo stuff. It's fab, especially The Last Dog and Pony Show.

Also, am I right with my belief that the Boos once toured with Sugar in the US? If so, I'd be really fascinated to hear Martin's thoughts/experiences...

(although from what I can gather, Bob now does house dj'ing and writes for the american tv wrestling...)

Listening to Copper Blue made me want to be in a band when I was 16, so I formed one and for 1 year was really really shit Wink

The Act We Act is the first time I can ever remember sitting/ dancing there and being truly and utterly gobsmacked by how amazing songs could be.

And Beaster is still one of my all time fave albums

Is that the self same tour that Mcgee said that the Boos went around the US in an enormous tourbus and Bob Mould in an old transit or summat?

Sounds very 'Bob' (Mould, not Cieka).

Although I'd imagine he'd need a frickin' tourbus just to transfer his guitar amps/pedals/guitar techs.
