Watched this last night.

Hardly the best film of all time. Just reminded me what a joke the human race is.

Hahahahaha. How many Holy Wars are we going to have before people get the irony of it all?

keep up la, that's all decided.

that was the f.a's decision. toffees go through and quite right and good luck.

we might sneak in at the expense of some club from a poorer country who deserve it alot more, yeah! USA! USA! i mean UK! UK!

anyway shouldn't this on the football/hot satire thread?

I think UEFA should give Inter Milan's place to Liverpool after the crowd trouble at the San Siro.

preferably make this statement now to give AC an incentive to lose Wink

I think Liverpool should concentrate on winning it first, even though they look more likely to do it beforehand, they can't think it's all done.

I don't think the talk of next season and defending the trophy *now* is because anyone thinks that Liverpool have already won the trophy or are guaranteed to, but you don't wait till everyone's gone on their holidays to say "hey, we should be allowed defend this cup!" either Wink

although, Liverpool FC haven't made many official statements about it, I think it's more a fuss for the papers to go on about, to date, and naturally, the average person on the street* joins into the debate.

I haven't seen it. It seems crap unless you enjoy Orlando Bloom just for him.

As for the Liverpool thing, I'm not superstitious but sometimes it seems like you can jinx your own team, therefore, if I was a supporter, I wouldn't go around worrying about next year's CL.
Keep in mind Milan beat Eindhoven despite being worse.

Love & Peace

The film wasn't that good. It's Orlando's best part cos he basically shut's his mouth and does very little actual acting.

But it seems it was only me interested in talking about religion and Holy Wars, so I'll let you get back to your Liverpool thread Wink

Time Out got a Cambridge historian to review the film, seems it's from the da Vinci Code school of filmmaking - in other words, wildly inaccurate in the way it portrays actual events and people.

and a fairly poor 'movie' too!
