It's an HTML code for color. When you build a website, if you code by hand, you have to pick colors, so for example, a black background would be:
<bg color="#000000">

Well... that would all depend:
-- Do you like cocaine?
-- Enjoy being kidnapped and held for ransom?
-- Dig paramilitary activity and terrorism?
-- Love extreme poverty and violence?
Then Columbia might just be for you! Beautiful country... but surrounded in sadness.
And I reckon you should have an excellent command of Spanish prior to your departure. |

There's a great travelogue called 'Cocaine Train' (can't remember the author and I'm at work so can't look it up), but it's about a bloke who goes to Colombia and follows in the footsteps of his father who was responsible for building the railway network. |
