As of Monday just gone, HMV are selling a set of three new New Order 7" singles for 99p each, tracklisting as follows:
1. Sirens Call mixed by Rich Costey
2. Temptation mixed by Secret Machines
1. Sirens Call mixed by Band
2. Everything's Gone Green mixed by Cicada
1. Sirens Call mixed by Jacknife Lee
2. Bizarre Love Triangle by Richard X

If you go here and put your name and address in you get a lovely folder a couple of days later to keep the 7" singles in:

Packaging is quite nice, vinyl is fairly sturdy by modern day standards, the remixes are better than you would expect, they're not long drawn out and are very faithful to the originals.
In general, well worth £2.97, though I do question how much cash New Order need as there is a DVD and yet another Best Of CD out next week. |

Did anyone buy either of the two new New Order DVD's that came out this week? Will my life be culturally poorer without owning them?
It's a bit sad that they've released a new greatest hits after each of their last three albums ('Best of', 'International' and 'Singles') but I suppose they've earned the right to cash in a bit. |
