The conservative alternative (four different parties) won the election by a very small margin. They want to make life worse for the ones who have it worse. FCUK!

Wow, was that their mission statement?

If it's any consolation, a win for the NEW caring compassionate Conservative Party here is already a shoe in for 2010.

The Tories won't win the next election, the editor of the Daily Mail likes Gordon Brown so they won't be too harsh on him and I reckon Murdoch will stick with Newer Labour. Plus "Dave" Cameron is fundamentally unlikeable, has never had a proper job and isn't a real person. The Lib Dems should get Jamie Oliver in as their leader. He'd definitely win, especially if he wore his fat suit at all times, everyone loves a jolly fat man.

Well...that's not how they've sold it but take a look at this:

Less money when you lose your job (today you get 80% of your salary, they want to decrease it to 60%).
The charge they want higher than today.

People who have low salaries get a smaller grant for rent, they want this removed.

People with really high income pay a 'rich tax' aside from regular income tax, they want to remove this.

They go on about creating more jobs but do not have any actual suggestion as to how, except lowering taxes (which won't help).

If you own property you pay taxes, they want to decrease it and then remove it.

Basically, take from the poor, give to the rich. And fcuk the international press who finds all of this interesting...yeah...poverty is interesting...middle class journalists!

L&P

Sorry about the election result in Sw. Most of Scandanvia has been an almost model example of a "progressive" (can't think of the proper word) socialist political model. Would be 'orrible if its changed.

I know, I completely agree.

My hope is people were tired of the lack of jobs so they voted for change but eventually they'll realise it wasn't any better.

Jamie Oliver can eat as many fake pies as he wants. He'll always be a nob end.
