my gig review - sorry I've taken so long, but I'm only just over my jetlag
highlights:
well, everything... but I was most pleased to get to hear My Mind Pictures.
Tommy's 'dancing' (should get its own featurette on the DVD)
oh, and the 'introducing the band' gag
lowlights:
the lack of Fucking Sunday and Death Of A Band (I love my corny jokes too)
and Kinkster not showing up. I was going to buy him a drink
my reluctance for going around asking strangers if I knew them from an internet messageboard prevented me from talking to just about everyone from here who attended (Tommy Boo, gillworm and titbag spears excepted... oh, and mixedcasespaces, who said hello, although I don't know how he knew who I was... probably the only person to ever call me discoRdance, as opposed to just disco', too... what a sound bloke... well, until he ruined it all by calling me Disco in his list ) |

I wont say who! |
You don't want a love that's that cheap that it'd die with a photo posting.

I hope you all returned to The Luminaire to see mixedcasesspaces play tonight.
I've been banned from flying after drunken behaviour on the way home last week, so couldn't make it back over. They should have known better than to ask me to fly the thing, cuh. |

oh right, could have sworn I heard you telling someone at the door that you were gonna be playing there "next Sunday". Maybe I wasn't as sober as I thought. Least I was more sober than Tommy... |

...it's tonight actually, supporting The Essex Green. The Luminaire was nice, I'm looking forward to playing there. Our single's been getting good reviews too, all very exciting! It's www.fanfarlo.com by the way if anyone wants a listen!

I like "You're One of The Few Outsiders Who Really Understands Us", good title and good trumpets.
Here's a thing i wrote about the last bravecaptain gig:
http://www.artrocker.com/reviews/gigs/gigs374.shtml
This was the pic I wanted them to use but I don't think there was enough room so I'm gonna stick it on here instead. I will not be censored.

Thanks. I was there but i didn't get there until just before bravecaptain came on and had to leave sharpish at the end cos i had a job interview the next morning. I didn't get the job, I should have hung around and got wasted. |
