that's not funny... the poor bloke not only gets a ball smack in the face, but look at all the people in the stand behind the goal pointing and laughing at him

how many times you have to remind yourself that this should be in the football thread?
is this what you meant when you said that all footballers should be shot in the face?

Class. I will never tire of that.
I scored an own goal wiv me head once. From a corner somebody twatted it my way, hit me head bounced onto the bar and in. Funnily enough i then went 3 months before getting picked for the starting line up again! |

My mate once scored 3 own goals in a 2-3 cup final defeat. It was 15 years ago and people still take the piss out of him for it.
The third (hat-trick) goal was a superlative lob over the keepers head from 25 yards!! _________________ we spent a lot of time trying to make our guitars sound like trumpets...then someone told us we could actually use real trumpets |

It is now one of my favourite memories (although not at the time!) when the third one was going over the goalie's head he cried mournfully "oh no not again"!
The 2nd was a cracker also. Our Goalie saves penalty only for my pal to blast it back past him into the net whilst trying to clear.
Sadly the 1st was a rather boring deflection!! _________________ we spent a lot of time trying to make our guitars sound like trumpets...then someone told us we could actually use real trumpets |

As an Everton fan, I have seen both David Wetherall and Claus Lundekvam chip their own keepers from outside the area in games against us in recent years.
What a long fucking sentence. |
