Hey all, I'm going to France next week and will spend some time in Paris (although I'm going to Normandie).
My handbag is singing its last tunes so I'm going to get a new one. I like crazy/fun bags (had a really cool Hello Kitty one before), any ideas of streets or shops that are good for fun bags?

Tesco's usually do the trick for me! Much more chic than Asda I find. _________________ We would like to announce that due to cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off..... |

Did you misunderstan the question or are you 'funny'?

Hey, I am going there the week after...! A great city.
I've no idea where to buy bags though, sorry. I'd recommend strolling around (stopping for beer now and then) & I'm sure you'll pass buy hundreds of places. Have fun. _________________ Scattershot Writing: www.jameseverington.blogspot.com |

Those were really crazy!
And Bev, thanks for the suggestion, I just asked here to see if I could avoid strolling about (don't like shopping that much).

Ahhh, sod the handbags, just go to the Louvre, that's ace and you can spend days there... (Mona Lisa's a bit of a letdown though). _________________ Scattershot Writing: www.jameseverington.blogspot.com |

Do you think so really? I have never been that impressed by the Mona Lisa, but when I saw it in real life at the Louvre I couldn't stop looking at it and I wasn't sure why. It was weird, I really think it's true that there's something about it that's a bit special, like it's really alive and not just a flat painting.

Interesting fact:
When the Mona Lisa was stolen (early 20th C I think) more people went to look at the space on the wall where it had been than had previous been to see the paiting itself.
(Yes I am full of this pointless knowledge) _________________ Scattershot Writing: www.jameseverington.blogspot.com |
