I've heard couple of their songs and I'm thinking of getting on of their albums. Can anyone recommend? Ta!

I've got Gulag Orkestar, and it is quite good although the winey voice can grate a bit if you're not in the right mood.
I
would
recommend it though, especially the one with the free EP as it has the wonderful Elephant Gun on it. Check out the lush video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjeh6P4sRfw
I've not got round to buying the new one yet, the songs on myspaz don't encourage me to rush out and buy it.

the first one is slightly better, but both are good.
it took me about four listens to get it but they're one of my bands of the year now - i'm off to see them live the week after next. |
