I don't know Mons very well but Belgium is small, you'll be in Brussels in a hour.
Check these sites for good concerts:
www.abconcerts.be
www.botanique.be

Enjoy.

I'M GOING TO SEE BLUR + THE CORAL TONIGHT!!!

Princess, a friend of mine in Belgium (he has lived 3 years in Mons) told me that it brings good luck if you caress that guard monkey's head... Rolling Eyes

I have to tell you something embarrassing. Embarassed I thought it would be a living monkey guard, you know those trained monkeys... But it's just a statue. Hehe... Laughing Well, at least my friend (and now probably you) had a good laugh...
My friend also promised to tell you more about Mons if you want. I can give you his e-mail address if you're interested. If you decide to mail him, don't forget to mention Boo Radleys and Bravecaptain at least a couple of times! He thinks it's a bit annoying, but he's not mean to the ladies so he won't say anything. Laughing I hope he's not reading this. Hehee... Twisted Evil

Tommy Boo - if you are stilll having problems, go to Tools in Internet Explorer, then Internet Options, then Privacy then Advanced, then on Third Party Cookies choose Accept. The BC board upgraded version sends a third party cookie to automatically let you in. I am pissed by the way.

No it does - I'm just messing about with some settings. I am trying to make the third party cookie a first party cookie, but don't worry about that, i'll have it mended in a day or two.

wrong thread i know, but i have to mention plymouth - an amazing result today. a good friend of mine is a big plymouth fan so i follow their results. they're on fire!

awww, thanks for all the info guys... i didn't check back in to the site before i left tho!

i did stroke the monkey's head (with my left hand -- apparently you can't use your right). i also saw a group of about 10 well-dressed pensioners break out into an all-out brawl -- men and women -- beating the living crap out of each other right in the middle of the square. it was pretty spectacular.

i also learned that my french leaves a great deal to be desired.
