Who thinks The Blades will get promoted this year?

We seem to be getting better. When I say better, I mean back to the kind of football we were playing two years ago where we are fighting hard for every minute of the game and churning out good results. Leeds made us look very good last Sunday, but we were actually playing a passing game, except Alan Wright who was useless.

Amazing how Warnock can get these results on an absolute shoestring. So much better to watch than the Basset team of old too.

neil warnock seems mad, based on the limited impact he's had on my life: spinning round giving v-signs to the paddock at anfield when politley asked by the kop what the score was (2-0, i think), and making some thinly-veiled xenophobic comments about stephane henchoz.

I don't mind Neil Warnock. I think he's just a David Brent figure who really wants to be loved and be a character and says things on the spur of the moment without thinking how bad they'll look in print.

hmm, i suppose if you look at it like that...

oh well, who cares what we think? if you like him then that's good. there hasn't been a liverpool manager i haven't hated at some point during his time in charge since kenny.

Warnock is the only Manager that is willing to put up with Sheffield United plc's utter lack of ambition. Spackman, Bruce etc all quit because of the clubs lack of spending. He also manages to build a team spirit and work ethic which is great to see. I really have (had) no idea about all the other comments on here about him.

I was thinking about the time when Warnock was asked what he'd do if he were put in charge of Sheffield Wednesday and he said something along the lines of 'I'd get a load of crap players in, the one's they've got now should do, and get them relegated'. I think he had to issue a big apology for saying that.

i'd forgotten about that.

if he hadn't slagged off the players they had, i don't see anything wrong with that. it's funny, and it's good when the manager is thinking along the same lines as the fans.
