Ahh GoldenEye, so many hours of multiplayer madness with my brother on Sunday evenings. I miss it. Burnout 3 is still class though. Those one-lap time-trial races are a pain in the arse but SO satisfying to win!

As for footy games, the only truly great footy game in my opinion was Sensible Soccer on the SNES. Might have to pick up Pro Evo 3 though since all I've heard about it are good reviews.

Did anyone ever play Clock Tower on the Playstation? It was a horror game but unlike Resident Evil where you could shoot all the creatures, the objective was to leg it away from a maniac with a giant pair of scissors. Genius.

P.S. The Italian Job was a good game.

Super Bomberman on the Super Nintendo was the best multiplayer game ever, I spent many a happy hour blowing up my friends. NBA Jam on the Megadrive was great as well.

listen to these people about Burnout 3 it is fucking class. Although it has a lagely fucking shite soundtrack

MarioKart on the SNES best multiplayer
Played it everyday for 3 years
Used to be able to beat most peple on two of the tracks with my eyes closed (true story)

second best multiplayer game
Samba De Amigo on Dreamcast where you wave real Maracas at the screen in time with classics like Take on Me by Aha. Brilliant

Can't be arsed with the likes of Splinter Cell. Not really into these reaistic games much. I'm a Mario and Zelda man meself
Shigeru Miyamoto the greatest genius that as ever lived
Mario64 on the N64 greatest game ever created

Matchday2 on the ZX Spectrum best footy game ever created

My favourite footy game ever is...

... Sensible World of Soccer!

I spent hours and hours playing that game... If I had spent all that time picking blueberries and mushrooms and selling them in a little market shed in Newport, I would have enough money to buy Liverpool FC and buy some decent players there so that you could stop groaning. Rolling Eyes

Now I play Pro Evolution Soccer 3, and it's probably even better than SWoS.

same game but more comprehensive stats I think.

Somehow I always preferred the Amiga version to the Megadrive one.

As for the best, I loved the original Pro Evo on PSOne. Numbers 2-3 on PS2 have left me a bit underwhelmed s'far

Sensible World of Soccer was the sequel of Sensible Soccer.
In SWoS you were the manager of a team (you could choose between hundreds of teams!) and you could buy new players if you had enough money. The career mode was really fun, it's a shame that the game was much too easy when you learned how to play it.

so was Sensible World of Soccer the sane one released on my SNES ???

it had all the Euopean teams licenced in it

I remember being pissed off because Cardiff City were in the game because that was a year they got in European Cup Winners Cup through the Welsh Cup when it could so easily have been Wrexham there.

great game though

I believe SWOS was Amiga only.

God I loved that game.

My brother still owns it, despite the fact I sold the Amiga in 1994 Confused

On Sensible Soccer I always seem to remember playing as a team called "In A Pencil Case" who had players called Ruler, Pen, Protractor, and more interestingly Scalpel. Shocked

Yes, the Burnout 3 soundtrack is crap with the exception of "Orpheus" by Ash. Even the Mooney Suzuki song is starting to annoy me now and they could have picked a better Franz Ferdinand track than "This Fire".

Silent Hill 4's out this Friday. Should be good.

Melz.
