Thats a brilliant site, I hadn't seen a single goal this season up until now. It looks like we've been playing some decent passing football or are the goals not representative of our overall play?

Steven Gerrard is a god amongst men and I think I love him. (note - I reserve the right to edit this comment next summer if he leaves the club).

I used to hate Steven Gerrard. Dirty pig.
Now he's not that bad anymore.
I hope Liverpool do well this season.
Of all the big teams in the Premier League, they're my favourites.
But that's not much.
Sami Hyypiä is a god. Well not really. He used to be much better but he's still the best defender at Liverpool. And I still haven't forgiven what they did to Jari Litmanen. Bastards. Rolling Eyes
Is Daniel Sjölund still at Liverpool?

don't think so. to be honest he was never very noticable when he was here. never got anywhere near getting in the first team.

I'd like to inform you all that Juve won 2-0. Yes indeed.

Who did they play against?
Do you think they're going to win Serie A this season then? I don't think so, their squad isn't strong enough. But I'm not an expert of Italian football so maybe Lecce will win the league. Rolling Eyes

Hahahahaha...not strong squad? Get with the programme Tomi! Last year they had a flawed defense last year and that is gone this year. So really...I'd like to see you point out the weakness of the sqaud.

I'm not sure however that they'll win it because you can never be sure of anything, I do think it's possible though. But should they not win it will not be because of the squad but circumstances, form etc. It's really too early to tell, they've only played two league games.

I don't think Lecce will win. Smaller teams do not win, at best they finish 5th-8th.

Love & Peace

Cloughie's gone! Shocked

Legendary former Nottingham Forest and Derby County boss Brian Clough has died from stomach cancer at the age of 69.

BBC Sport news

That's bad news. I know that all of you didn't like Brian Clough - he was an arrogant bastard sometimes and quite a character, but you have to admit that what he did at Nottingham Forest was a little miracle. He wasn't too bad at Derby either...
I think he will be missed.

Goodbye, Brian Clough.

"On occasions I have been big headed. I think most people are when they get in the limelight. I call myself Big Head just to remind myself not to be."

Exclamation

My favourite Cloughie moment was when one of the Forest players (don't remember who!) scored by heading the ball from the goalies hand as he was about to kick it.

Cloughie was interviewed on Central News and the interviewer said:
"I suppose he should thank the referee for allowing the goal"

Cloughie replied: "No, he should be thanking me for keeping him in the side when he's failed to score for 4 weeks running!"

What happened to all the Liverpool talk?!
A superb victory on Saturday and no comments yet... Nice to see some of the new faces and Milan Baros score, I hope they do well in Premier League this season. It's time to throw Man United and Arsenal from the throne, and although Liverpool aren't a small club either (I always have a soft spot for small clubs!), I hope they do well.
Did anyone see Sami Hyypia's tackle + yellow card in the game? A friend of mine told me that it was an awful awful tackle and the Norwich player was lucky to avoid a career ending injury... Well, my friend doesn't like Liverpool so he might be talking bollocks (as usual), but what was it really like?

it's easier to find something to moan about than to know what to say when things go well. "more please" is about all you can say about yesterday. Very Happy xabi alonso is god.

the bad tackle was was dietmar hamann, not sami hyypia. it was bad. the norwich player lunged in a bit, but got the ball, and hamann went right over the top of the ball and hit the norwich player studs first in the thigh. should have been a red card, but the ref gave a yellow.

Sounds like we're playing really well at home this year, are the crowd getting behind the team or sitting back and waiting to be impressed? Its Chelsea away next, I hope we go at them rather than just sticking everyone behind the ball.

it's still pretty quiet at anfield, i'm afraid. could take a while for everyone to remember how to support an exciting team.

i haven't seen chelsea play this season, so sunday could be interesting. i assume that if they're grinding out results they'll close us down like united did, so hopefully we'll cope better this time.
