...latest bin Laden tape is apparently a little different, despite it being Ramadan he doesn't make references to religion.

He also said something in the lines of "...if Bush says we hate freedom let him then explain why we didn't attack Sweden, for example."

That is obviously a point, because 'they hate us for our freedom' was always a nonsensical Bush mantra. Anyway, what is my point? I don't, just amuzing having Osama declair your home a free country.

Love & Peace

Ramadan doesn't come into it!

No, it's Halloween and who should crawl out of the woodwork.....

YIKES! It's the Bogeyman! Shocked

It''s like a bloody pantomime with Bin Laden as the baddy (BOO!)
"Look out he's behind you"
"Oh no he's not"
"Oh yes he is"

I mean, we've already got Captain Hook down in Finsbury Park. Does that make Blair Peter Pan?, Cherie would make a good Widow Twankey though!
And how about Bush? Jack from the Beanstalk? He was a bit stupid wasn't he! Perhaps Dick Whittington although Dick Witless would be nearer the mark.

If they did actually get rid of Bin Laden, what would they do with themselves?
It really wouldn't surprise me if he was a work of fiction and it turned out they based him on Darth Vader.

Morons.

Yeah and they're saying Osama actually benefits from Bush being the president, makes it easier for him to sell his 'product'.

Cherie should kick Tony out and be prime minister instead, I think she is proper labour, instead of her husband, a tory dressed in labor outfit.

Not sure about the first part. I think she inhabits cloud cuckooland too! That said, she did enlist the help of a "dodgy geezer" when trying to get a flat for her son in Bristol. That's "old Labour" all the way, on the fiddle!

As for the second part, yes he is! We're just like America in that respect. Right or Very Right, that's the choice. The other parties are a bit of a nonsense really.
Even after all he's done, Blair will probably get back in.

I grew up in Doncaster. There was a scandal a few years back, where alot of the council were sacked for fiddling expenses. It wasn't just the odd lunch! we are talking houses, holidays, cars and so on all paid for by fiddling their council expense accounts and credit cards and it had been going on for years. There were also some questionable deals done over the years, so I was light heartedly referring to that and thinking that's the about the only thing that could possibly connect Cherie Blair with "Old Labour"

Despite that, we did have the best public transport system in the country, frequent, cheap and comprehensive. As a kid I could go anywhere for 2p flat fare. You could go to Sheffield on the train for 30p! (This was the 1980's not the 1940's!)
Rates were high to subsidise it, but apparently when it was scrapped (when the County council was abolished by Thatcher) it was just about paying for itself because everybody used it.
This is what we should be doing on a National scale, instead of the shower we have at the moment.

Didn't Osama and his whole family spend some time in Sweden in the early 70s? Sure i've read stuff about it, think he was a teenage and it was before he cut himself off from his family...

Yeaha, they were in Falun...AHAHAHAHA...that's very funny to me, probably nothing to you. Falun and bin Laden, hilarious.

About the Cherie thing, okay I was wrong, I read that years ago that in her work she does a lot for socially pressured families etc. Oh well.

Love & Peace

A little off-topic but I think Dubya T wins my vote for "Post of the week"! Laughing Laughing Laughing
I can imagine Bin Laden doing the Darth Vader bit. "Tony... I am your father..."
