I saw that and first thought it was a joke. So, is he worth listening to then? He falls in to the 'heard of but not heard' category for me.

bright eyes is definately worth checking out. although i can see how his voice might not be to everyones taste.

the best stuff he's released is 'fevers and mirrors' album, 'every day and every night' EP and the sublime 'Lifted' album.

I would go for 'Every night & Every day' as a good starter point. The albums may be a bit too much to take in one go for a newbie.

he's also got 2 albums out next year, and apparantly he's released 2 singles this month, not that the music shops have noticed, i couldn't find them anywhere. Sad

bright eyes live album. the exchange rate means you can pre-order it in the uk for about £8 including postage, which seems pretty good to me.
