From the good musical french site www.popnews.com
Very nice review! Read it, it's good for your french. Sorry I've no time to translate it, I'm at work.

"Say Captain, Say Wot You Want".

Say Captain, Say wot you want...

Is a line from a Captain Sensible song from 1980whenever if that helps!

I think it was his take on rap Which was was just being noticed at the time, just like Kenny Everett and Roland Rat did. Rap was sen as a bit of a comedy thing at that time, and here we are 20 years later with the likes of 25p and nothings changed!!!!

Ahh uhh yeahhh ahhh yeahhh ahhh BANG!

If you translate it with babelfish you get:
"this time, have l amability to sort its brothel a little."

odd!

"
Briefly let us put in perspective: Martin Carr was throughout the Nineties the guitarist and single type-setter of Boo Radleys is, during nearly ten years, nothing less than l'un, if this n'est best the songwriter of pop planet! Following Split of Boo, it leaves in adventures and becomes in 2000 Bravecaptain, super hero, decided to make fall all the barriers between musical vaults. It delivers its fourth album here to us. To have followed closely its work, sometimes close to l experimentation, on its not very miserly site in mp3, and after its album "Advertisments For Myself" who left a little in all the directions, I m'attendais with very safe with that. And that, the softest c'est quite simply of the discs qu'il m'ait given d'écouter this year. Not qu'"All Watched Over By Machines Of Loving Grace" that is to say smooth or inoffensive, quite to the contrary, but Martin Carr presents a semi-apaisée/mi-tortured face there to us qu'on knew to him little. Blow, without separating its inclinations of musical clearer, arranging its sounds, tearing off its rhythmic, déconstruisant its pop-songs, it makes the only anti-tubes to be sung under the shower that l'on knows. Quite simply modern, the pop one of Carr (because it n'appartient qu'à him) draws as much from the dub, the hip-hop and l'electronica that in the Californian music of the sixties. Less biscornu that on its last productions, each title brings its batch of freshness and d innovation. As with his practice, Martin Carr thus offers a capharnaüm to us but it has, this time, have l amability to sort its brothel a little. In addition, its voice, a long time its weak point, takes with the years more and more heat ("Big Black Pig Pile") and d'assurance ("Flow Machines"). But the presence of Sice, its accomplice of always and singer of Boo, on the piece "Good Life" us once more makes regret the lie of the slogan "Boo Forever!" because, on this vocal register, décidement, nobody supports competition. One would follow at the end of the world this Achab captain, obstinate in his step and so gifted to carry out his boat against winds and tides. And, parce qu'il knows it pertinently, parce qu'il has already gained part, Carr s'offre into final, with "Weaponized", a superb machine with groover. An UFO of end d'album, effective with wish, slaughter of dance floor. With talent, the festival is more insane. "Say Captain, Say Wot You Want".

I couldn't agree more.
