"...any of us on this board will ever do."

It's one thing knowing how much we've all done for peace today but how do you know one of us won't work full time for charity in the future?

I think Bono is probably flawed like most of us, but how can you knock someone down for trying to promote something good? Even if he also gains from it?

Love & Peace

Fair point Set, if you worked full time for charity then you'll do more.

My point is, if Bono stands up and shouts loud, more people listen because of who he is.. He does have a limited influence, which is a greater influence than we will ever have. Why are we just criticising Bono? Why not Thom Yorke, or Chris Martin, or Bob Geldof, or anyone that ever promotes peace by using their celebrity?

I live my life as best I can and make my own small difference. I just don't understand, and refuse to understand, why people here need to criticise or belittle anyone that stands on a platform and uses what they have to do good.

Maybe I'm completely wrong, totally on the wrong wavelength, or I'm totally fucking knackered and blowing things out of all proportion, but I'm severely disappointed, as I believed people on this board were better than that.

i thought we were just havin' a laff at bono. he's only a bloke and he certainly wouldn't want us not to be able to exercise the freedom of speech that he loves so much. i've just got too much respect for him not to call him names.

the others will get theirs when they make an advert.

Rolling Eyes sorry buddy, but that just don't add up. Adolf Hitler was a nobody & thousands, maybe more like millions & they listened! Rolling Eyes so, better luck next time, kinx!

Andi Peters gave the world the hangover soothing T4 and is therefore OK by me. I suspect this is the only thread currently on any website dealing with Bono, Andi Peters, Captain Birdseye and Adolf Hitler.
