http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00077372O/qid=1104945974/sr=2-1/ref=sr_2_11_1/202-4898913-8259038

Shocked

Finally! Any info besides this? Did all 40 songs that Martin picked out make it? Are these recording re-mastered? I can't find the track listing anywhere, two disc and still won’t be enough!

BTW, the Swervedriver one is due the same day.

£11.99 for 40 songs (if it is that) seems pretty amazing value. hopefully it will sell shedloads enabling martin to buy lfc and save the world.

will there be a nice sleeve booklet thing full of interesting words and exciting pictures to make it a must-have for the people who already have all the songs?

...and the URL of the fantastic 10th anniversary Giant Steps web site I hope! I love the mp3s of the demo tracks on there, really interesting stuff.

well you've had answers to your original questions.

1. does anyone have info on the upcoming boos 2cd anthology ?
not much! though a price and number of songs is a start. and martin said in his recent interview that there'll be artwork by steve wood, who did most of the boos artwork.

2. are there any extras, rarities on it ?
to quote the interview: "unfortunately there are no rarities or outtakes, they simply don't exist. for the fan who has everything there won't be any surprises."

only a few weeks until release, so i'm sure there'll be more info here soon.

there's still a link to it at the bottom of the songs/recordings page on the main site, but it doesn't work, so i'm guessing not.

And does anyone remember the 'Music For Astronauts' mix of it on CD2?

In my head it seems a precursor to all the bravecaptain stuff, but I can't remember it that well so I might be talking out of my chuff.

Got the Barney... and Me CD single the other day (had it on vinyl, natch). Does anyone know who Zoom which is covered on there was originally by?

Will the Anthology be available to buy through the website shop? It would be cool is you could buy old Boo Radleys stuff through the site although I suppose that would be a record label copyright nightmare and Martin probably wants to concentrate on the Bravecaptain stuff anyway.

10 years since Wake Up Boo, who'd have thought we'd all live this long. For the 6 months after its release you couldn't listen to the radio for half an hour without hearing it.
