| I knew she did a 'man's job', I asked my mate, which led to discussions over the smallness of Wayne Duncan's mouth. Hmmmmm..... |

Wayne Duncan was a bloke who lived with the Robinsons for a bit and was a teacher. As I recall his storylines were that of having a small mouth (obviously), getting accused of having an affair with Annalise, and then getting accused of murder (whom I can't remember whose). I think he taught PE or something like that. In fact his mouth was smaller than the following emoticon - |

Not heard it - while not loving their recent albums they all had some moments. You wanna eat caviar all your life? Occasionally you hanker for some boiled kippers.
And I disagree with whoerver dissed them live above (can't be botrher to scroll to quote you, sorry). Live they make a lot more sense, and even though the right-hand side of your brain knows Liam is probably an arrogant git, the left-side still whispers 'he is a rock star' as soon as he walks on. Star quality, which lets face it half of my favourite bands have zlich of. _________________ Scattershot Writing: www.jameseverington.blogspot.com |

its drrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeaaaaaadddddddddfffffffffuuuuuuuuuuulllllll. they're songs are nearly as bad as richard ashcrofts solo stuff now.
but live, well up until the third album they were out of this world. last times i saw them they were just dull
but both brothers gallagher are and will always be starshaped. |

they did used to be amazing live... oasis on the
definitely maybe
tour made a young princess want to throw her pants at the stage...
but now... jesus. i must have missed the memo on "dull" being the new black. they were astoundingly awful the last time i saw them. i don't think i even watched the whole show.
but at least now we can throw them in the pile of bands to discuss with regards to the great muso question: should a formerly great artist be held accountable for their latter day sins?

yes
just look at the Manics...
split up when Richey fucked off, you'd have a legacy of going out with a great album
at the very least, change band name a la JD/NO and get that follow up out (if only for the Richey penned tracks and James' masterpiece, ADFL) and then fuck off as well.
but no... they had to hang around like a bad smell, and fuck it all up |

What about people who go through a 'fallow period' before doing something ace again? (along the lines of: self portrait/new morning/planet waves/ BLOOD ON THE TRACKS)
If everyone is condemed for one false move (okay, three or four now for the manics!) then you never know what they'd have a chance of doing next... _________________ Scattershot Writing: www.jameseverington.blogspot.com |

| I just heard the Oasis album and i don't think this is a fallow period, I just don't think they're very good anymore. all the songs sound so sludgy and dull. And Liams voice sounds strange these days. |
