hahaha, you bastard! Laughing

well, this is what I get for living in Finland , the only country in Europe where football isn't the number one sports.
the first leg was boring. Rolling Eyes
perhaps I could get it on some fancy satellite channel but I've only got the shit ones here.
well, I guess I'll just go to the pub tonight then. they might be watching ice hockey there though. Confused

I might be the only person in the whole world who follows the match on BBC text commentary tonight.

anyway, come on Liverpool! Smile

One minute left! Very Happy COME OOOOON!!!

Yes, I've followed the whole match on BBC text commentary, and during the last fifteen minutes I've hit F5 (refresh) every 5 seconds at least! Shocked

Woo-hoo! Very Happy
Good job Liverpool!
This week's game on BBC text was more entertaining than watching the first leg on telly! Rolling Eyes
According to a friend of mine, Jamie Carragher was brilliant tonight and Hyypiä wasn't bad either.

Shit, now I really wish that I had seen the game. Sad

And Wrexham were relegated tonight. Crying or Very sad

PSV 3 - 1 AC Milan
Agg. 3-3 - Milan win on away goals rule.
1-0 Park - 7 min.
2-0 Cocu - 65 min.
2-1 Ambrosini - 90 min.
3-1 Cocu - 91 min.

Lucky Milan. My heart cries for PSV tonight. Crying or Very sad
PSV were so amazing and played beautiful entertaining football, they would have deserved their place in the final, but Milan were incredibly lucky .
Well, at least I'm now absolutely sure who I'm going to give my full support for in the final... the Italians don't deserve it... C'mon Liverpool!

Exclamation

where's your Liverpool V Chelsea match report, Martin? Rolling Eyes

Yeah, I agree with you there Tommy Boo, PSV deserved to win! AC Milan played quite shite to be honest. Altho, in the final between liverpool, i think Milan mite just take win, but hope they dont for they dont deserve it as much as liverpool do.

my match report:

4 minutes into the contest, Gerrard sends Baros through for a one on one with Petr Cech with a clever flick... Cech almost does a Schumacher on Baros, but Garcia plays on with the loose ball and sends the ball towards the Chelsea goal, despite John Terry's best efforts to foul him too...

...the location of the standing foot of Gallas (which was just before the line) coupled with how far across the line his other foot has to have been (he didn't keep his legs together!) when he hooked the ball away says it's a goal. None of the angles are entirely conclusive but it's a good indicator. The goal is given, despite the unbiased view of the Chelsea players that Gallas got there in time. Chelsea are lucky to still have 11 men on the field, and still only need one goal to progress, regardless.

Half-time statistics show 52% possesion in Liverpool's favour, despite media reports and Chelsea claims that Liverpool did nothing but defend when they got their lead. True, they did become more defensive in the second half, but Chelsea had no ideas up front without Duff and an inform Robben, although the latter did cause some panic when he came on. Drogba and later Kezman further prove to be expensive flops, and a 96th minute winner for Chelsea would have been more than harsh, as Benitez beat Mourinho for tactics.

AC Milan should be a doddle Wink

Arsenal have just beaten Everton 7-0 at home. Shocked

It's a shame that it's too late for Liverpool, eh?

What was it Bill Shankly said? the best two teams in Liverpool are, Liverpool - and Liverpool Reserves

7-0! Laughing

add that to the fact Everton didn't reach two cup finals this season, one of them being the most prestigious one in Europe if not the world, and also that they didn't have Europe as a distraction this season, nevermind what must be a record as regards serious injuries to players of the one top club in a season, and some of the worst refereeing decisions you're ever likely to see (the penalties not given vs Chelsea at Anfield, the Saviola handball for Monaco, etc)

best team in the city? pffft! Laughing

I must be going soft; I haven't found it in myself to laugh at the Glazer story yet

I'd much rather they were relegated coz Ferguson remained till he was 100, refusing to go until he won another Champions League, and instead, took them down coz they were shit, not coz they were millions in debt
