I got a couple of albums this weekend, the new Teenage Fanclub, Eels, and Spoon albums and they're all really good (especially the Spoon album) but I also finally got Shack Waterpistol and its just amazing, I dont wanna try and analyse why its so good cause that always ruins it a little. Hazy is one of the most perfect songs ever. Its almost a shame cause those other albums I got are just gathering dust now.

glad to find someone else who shares my enthusiasm for Waterpistol. Really, I can recomend anything by the brothers Head although I haven't laid my hot little palms on "Zilch" yet. Q - why has it not been re-released yet? Check-out the Pale Fountains too - including Long Shot For Your Love - compilation of rarities & BBC sessions

zilch is worht the effort if ya can get it - can see why the band were pee'd off with broudies influence being so dominant but stuff like Emergency
and Clayton Square are up there with their best.
should also check out michael heads solo album, v beautiful.
and - yup! - pale fountains are worth it to but i do prefer shack
