I've had another one!
This is from a mate of Sparky who goes by the name of mister meister.
You'll find his musical mayhem mix at
www.fredfish.net
as usual.
There's still room for more! _________________ We would like to announce that due to cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off..... |

My favourite at the moment is the one by John M. I've listened to it already three times today and I'm still
lovin' it
. The first half of it is absolutely brilliant, there are two songs in the end that I don't like so much, but it's alright. Two Dizzee Rascal songs is a bit too much though.
I love it how it changes from Ettiene De Crecy to the Beatles. The song by Marlene Shaw is cool and the Annie song makes me smile. Fantastic.

Cheers Tommy, that second to last song was one I found on a Rough Trade compilation and it amused me cos its got girls swearing in and references to drug taking - i'm so easily impressed.
Is anyone else gonna have a go? |

I'm going to have a go, and I have a lot of tracks / samples in mind, but I'm afraid it wont be until August due to working every hour Sod sends.

Let me know when it's finished & I'll give you details. I'm away the first two weeks of August but I can sort it out for you. _________________ We would like to announce that due to cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off..... |

It should be back up again soon!
I hadn't paid the bill
It doesn't work as we speak but it will need time for the payment to go through and for it to be switched back on. Hopefully some time tomorrow it will be back up!
Thanks for letting me know about it, the hosting company had my old email address (despite me giving them the new one!) so I was oblivious. _________________ We would like to announce that due to cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off..... |

Can anyone help me out here? I need some software (cubase etc) to mix my "shit", and I've been let down by a mate for the last month, who has now buggered off to Vegas for a fortnight.
I have the tracklisting all sorted out, now all I need is the software, and time to figure it out.
Thanks for any help!

Thanks to everyone for the MASSIVE response to help me out on this.(for "massive response" read "Dubya T").
Now all I need to know is:
a.) How do I get it all at the same volume, and
b.) How do I output it all to one file that I don't need a new codec for?
ta la

What did you use to do your mix in the end? I used some dodgy freeware thing which was very basic indeed and I had to record it using that 'sound recorder' programme that's built into windows. It took ages but was definitely worth it as I revolutionised the dj-ing world with my inventive 'turning down the volume on one record while simultaneously turning up the volume on another record' mixing style. |
