...but i feel i must share with the group:
1) I don't know why the Daft Punk album got such bad reviews, just heard it and it sounds great to me.
2) That puppet dog from the Conan O'Brien Michael Jackson thing posted on here is in the new Eminem video. Eminem's not very good any more is he?
3) people who bought 'All Watched Over....' on Itunes also bought: 'Common People' by William Shatner, 'You Keep Me Hangin' On' by Diana Ross and the Supremes and 'Dub Be Good To Me' by Beats International.
4) it could be due to overexposure to the 47 music channels on Sky TV but 'Don't Phunk With My Heart' is my favourite single of the year so far.
Actually they didn't even justify this thread did they. |

that was not me.
Yesterday i was in a thrift store and found the Beatles Magical mystery tour vinyl for $0.40. I also got london calling by the clash for the same price.

Was he ever? I suppose Stan was reasonable, the rest is just bobbins (IMHO!)

What? Triumph is really funny, in a very cruel way. His stuff on American Idol was so FUNNY...funnier than the MJ bit.
"Don't Phunk With My Heart", a.what does it even mean? and b.it's catchy, but not that good...they've had better singles before.

I used to think he was great, his second album was top and 'Without Me' and 'Lose Yourself' were both really good. But he seems to have run out of ideas. His second album was mostly spent complaining about being famous and when that was really successful and made him more famous I don't suppose there's anywhere left to go.

a) i think the 'phunk' bit is instead of 'fuck' although i don't think think anyone really cares about swearing in songs anymore after that Eamon single got to number one last year.
b) its very catchy, makes me want to dance when it comes on and has loads of bright colours in the video and therefore meets all my requirements for a great single. I didn't like any of the stuff off 'Elephunk' ('Elefuck'?) and think this is much better. |

You can't argue with those prices can you. Just started reading 'Passion Is A Fashion', the book which came out about the Clash earlier in the year. The Clash are a band I've never liked that much but the documentary 'Westway to the World' was really interesting so hopefully this book will be as good. |

Dont phunk with my heart is the biggest pile of pooh I have ever heard, they used to be good on the Bridging The Gap album, but somewhere along the line someone must have called a meeting and said 'Hey lets try being toss, we could sell loads of records and if we get an mtv friendly white girl to show her midriff in videos there'll be no stopping us' and the rest of the band probably replied 'what, you mean, like making really really really bad music, well its a crazy idea but it might just work'.
Eminem stopped being good when he started whining about his mum, he was great when he rapped about mushrooms and date rape (Lose Yourself is brilliant though) |

It's all a bit strange, they seem to use the word 'phunk' for everything, good or bad.
Doesn't the girl look strange to anyone btw, there's an inexplainable duck quality about her, not in an ugly way...but it's so...she's strange.
