killing people at random is never a valid option on any poll, is it?

nope, but that's not to say it can't be used as an option.

it is never the correct 'option'

yes, I know. beats talking about killing people tho. Superdrag just sounded like the American equivalent of Travis to me. Supergrass are much more fun. In my opinion.

ah, but u gotta' remember Superdrag were the first ones to came out with that typical sound back in 94', 95'. in other words, Superdrag are the godfathers and Travis are the offspring. Wink

i've never liked Travis from first time i laid my eyes on em' and i never will like Travis........maybe they do sound like the under-rated band Superdrag, but in my opinion i don't think they'll ever be as good or even be any better than Superdrag.

When I'm on a downer, I drink too much.

That's not a good idea all the time, but it works sometimes for me - not that Id recommend it to anyone else as I'd be branded irresponsible. However, it changes my state of mind and hence my outlook to make life more interesting.

Also, Try walking into a shop and telling them something stupid - a fav of mine is a spike milligan quote - try it at your newsagent:

"I've never shot a tiger." - then just walk out.

Might be madness, but It makes me feel better and take things a bit less seriously - just cos you can.

"In the light of what happenned...." You are very foolish to go around saying the things you did and really are acting like a child wanting attention. Now stop it and spend the time and energy trying to work out what it is that is bad and change that or do something where you can set yourself a goal and acheive something.

look here: www.oceanrowing.com/logs/don_allum.htm

Amazing man and yet totally crazy!

Perhaps you could do something like that to set yourself a goal in life and feel you've acheived something. There are less extreme options of course.

The thing with life is you may never get over it but you just have to get used to it.

Couldn't agree more.

We all come in with fuck all, we all leave with fuck all. No-one gets out of life alive.

Make the best of it.

(I still say go to the newsagent and tell him you've never shot a tiger, but thats my way of dealing with shit.)

good one Guest, i actually thought about drinkin' meself before i started this thread......when i looked in my wallet i saw that i did'nt have enough money to be spending on a pint or two and the money i did have i needed for more important things such as food, clothes and grooming products etc......i do drink, not occasionally though....and when i do drink, it's usually cuz i'm in Dire Straits.....and yr right, drinkin' does help.

believe me, i've tried.......i just need some time-off to be left alone and think about all the bullshit that surrounds me......eventually i'll get over it and if i don't, then i'll find myself in Dire Straits again.

That's my point. You'll never get over it, you'll always end up in "Dire Straits" if you think that you can.

GET USED TO IT! (there is a difference)

As for being happy, there is a way. I believe somebody once borrowed some philosophy from Buddhism and wrote a song called "Everything Is Sorrow". Listen to it and digest the message. It will help you get used to it.

And yes, it is my opinion but to talk of going on a killing spree.... FFS!

You are putting yourself in the same bracket as the sort of people who put bombs on trains and buses or fly planes into skyscrapers. They have no respect for any form of life, regardless of race, religion or nationality and I'm sure you're better than that.
