Victim Lauren: "I thought they were going to kill us"

Former child star, Lauren Harries, her brother and her father had the shit beaten out of them in their own home by five to seven "drunken yobs". She lives not far from here, she was famous, as James Harries (see pic), for being a child prodigy on antiques (subsequently uncovered as a scam cooked up by her parents). She had a sex change a while back and has been a target for locals ever since. There was a documentary on the telly a while back about the family and they are not very nice people but nobody deserves this kind of abuse.

Meanwhile, amidst the hundreds of adverts, the castle's lawns have been closed by builders, an alzheimers sufferer and her husband were tricked by a fake water official and final preparations are being made for the fete at Barry hospital.

It's all go round here...

help..

The 'Ealing Times' in print is usually pretty much devoid of any real news, and has top stories like the recent 'Busses could kill someone' story (real headline) about how busses in Ealing were having to drive around some roadworks, potentially into pedestrians.

The web site though makes Ealing look like a hot bed for murderers: http://www.ealingtimes.co.uk/news/
...or maybe just a lot has happened this week.

And when him became her I saw her being interviewed on Richard & Judy and thought what the fuck? Poor Bastard all over again!

http://www.walthamforest.gov.uk/

read it and weep, you know you have to pack a bag and move here right away!

mind you, we do have some excitement, at a meeting last sunday aimed at saving our grade 2 listed cinema, (the Beatles supported Roy Orbison there and the Stones played there too) the local councillor was heckled...and a few weeks back Che phoned me at one in the morning to tell me he was just outside the tube station but couldn't get to my flat 5 mins away cos some skanky warehouses were on fire...
