Next week: Pope Goes To Church.
Is there anyone here who doesn't reckon all drugs should be decriminalised? And that tabloid stories about Pete Doherty and Kate Moss should be made illegal. This has probably been discussed loads of times on here before actually but I'm still amazed that all the tabloids seem to think that their readers will see drugs as being 'bad'. |

Kate Moss and Pete Doherty should be banned. Either they are both pathetic or the media are good at portraying them as such.

anyone who ever saw the documentary about Daniella Westbrook would probably agree that drugs are bad - or rather cocaine specifically, since that's what Kate 'n' Pete were hoovering up. the bit where she described the inside of her nose falling out, for instance, must seem like not a particularly good thing? |

I don't reckon Daniella Westbrook actually exists, i think she's just an apocryphal tale to warn kids about the dangers of drugs.
Obviously if you take to much of anything, whether its drugs, beer or mars bars, then its probably not going to be good for you. But I think most people are intelligent enough to realise that there must be a plus side to taking drugs otherwise people wouldn't do. It just seems a bit strange that papers still feel obliged to act outraged about people taking drugs when most of their readers will have done it at some point in their lives. |
