Reasons I like winter:- Sheppard’s pie
- Cottage pie
- Root veg (the more the better) and mustard mash
- Toffee apples
- Getting to wear a scarf
- Lights reflected on rainy streets
- Coming home bloody freezing then having a warm hot chocolate
- Sledging in Wales

I'm convinced that I was a hamster or some such hibernating animal in a previous existence, I have the urge to eat unhealthy foods until i have a nice layer of fat to keep me warm, then curl up and sleep till spring. winter is such a sluggish time for me, a time of paralysis and creeping, can't hardly move for layers of wool! let me sink into the pile of my velvet sofa and disappear for a while...
of course I work in the coldest place ever! you try heating a building with a ceiling over a hundred feet high!! and the bloody door open all the time!!! |

Though not good for driving or staging Premiership matches, fog is great. The waterfront in Liverpool looked amazing this evening and the whole city looked like something out of a Batman film. For me thats a good thing. |
