they drew with Everton, lost to Charlton, lost to Betis (who they'd beaten 4-0 just 2 weeks previous) and lost to a very out of form Man Utd... Ah, it's good to be a Chelski hater right now

Liverpool aren't doing too badly lately either...

As its coming up to Xmas does anyone fancy chipping in a few quid to raise some cash for those who've had a hard time over the past few years and been through a bit of an ordeal. People like this man:

I'm a bit skint at the moment!

Are we allowed American FOOTBALL stuff in this thread? Saw this on TV this morning, was incredible to watch, it was just like Forrest Gump:

Should I change the name of this thread into SOCCER! to avoid confusion? Laughing

Heh, I watched Forrest Gump again last night, what an excellent film. Smile

*goes to write something in the 'safe as film' thread*

With the rumours last night about the American interest in Liverpool it might be a good idea Tommy.

And why do the Furries like him so much?

That's what Barnsley need Tommy - a keeper who is good on crosses.

Australia just got through to the World Cup on penalties and it was quite a match. Right, I'm off to bed this Australian beer does nothing for me head, the smokes a bit strong too Wink

haha, nice one Sparky, nice one... Smile
(I'm afraid you might be right, though!)

Crustybit, could Jacob Burns of Barnsley force his way into the Australian team? It would be good to see him in the world cup finals.

Czech Rep. 1 - 0 Norway (2-0)

Slovakia 1 - 1 Spain (2-6)

Turkey 4 - 2 Switzerland (4-4, Switzerland win on the away goals rule! )

So, no big surprises there then... it's a shame that Norway didn't make it, but oh well.

Looks like Togo and Trinidad & Tobago will be my favourites in the World Cup next year! Smile
