Now, just heard something a while ago, that maybe Gruff Superfurry is playing a solo gig in Dublin and maybe Martin Carr is playing a dj set with him. Is this true? Well, if so, we'll be there for certain!!! _________________ www.myspace.com/storkboychoons

Well will probably go anyway because Gruff is deadly too. Anyway, Martin if you are coming to Dublin and you are reading this, just letting ye know that we'd be up for a pint (or twenty!) or just love to say hello to you. _________________ www.myspace.com/storkboychoons

Can't work out how to get tickets for the London gig. The internet contains many things but not that information apparently. My head hurts. Six - Three! What is the world coming to? |

Gruff Rhys was fantastic last night (Newport Riverfront), cool backdrop with pingu, a dog, a tele with a 3d candylion, a top set with some fantastic live looping, some quality lines... tbh the only Furry gig i've enjoyed as much was Cardiff IA in '99. It was great and those of you going are in for a top night.
Oh and if yer want the mugs get 'em quick, I did but they'd sold out well early. _________________ Britain... It's not that Great! |

I'm off to see Gruff in Hebden Bridge in a few weeks - I'm right looking forward to it after that review.
Also, I found out yesterday that the Radio One Big Weekend is taking place in my back garden in May. Three stages and it's free. You can't argue with that. |

I saw Gruff Rhys last night, was expecting a quiet bloke with an acoustic guitar playing some lovely songs. I got a charismatic musical genius playing a guitar plus other things which weren't technically instruments and producing some very lovely songs. Infinitely better than any of the times I've seen SFA. |
